L.E.  Project 1:  Coming Attractions

Everyone knows that the previews are the best part of going to the movies.  Check out comedian Dane Cook's take on the coming attractions.

Did you know that some people make movie previews for movies that do not even really exist?

Another movie preview without a movie to go with it (yes, your instructor is a superhero nerd.

The following are examples of movie trailers that are considered some of the best.

If someone made a movie of your life, what would the movie preview look like?  What genre would the movie be?  Horror?  Adventure?  Drama?

Alright!  This is the first project of the year!  I can't wait to see what we come up with here.

Directions:

Using the trailer templates in iMovie, create a 2 minute "movie preview" about yourself.  Originally, my intent here was to have you create a trailer that depicts your life (past, present and future).  Some of you have asked to have some creative freedom on this...so, I am willing to open the focus up somewhat.  If you are feeling particularly creative, the trailer can be a fictional, fantastical story, but it should still tell the audience something about you.  For instance, Kenna may create some amazing story that is not really true, but it shows her love of horses.  Or, Duncan may have a trailer that is all about legos, because that is what he loves.  The point is that the audience gets to know you a little better by watching your preview-whether that is through a literal depiction or figurative one, I will let you decide.

Be clean and creative!!

How'd they do that?
